Cerita tentang musik... Gue dulu sebenernya sebelum kenal yang namanya musik Pop-Punk, Post-Hardcore, Metal, Hardcore dan sebagainya. Gue dulu sukanya Peterpan haha tapi itu enggak begitu suka, kalo sampe sekarang band Pop jaman 90an itu gue suka SO7 atau Sheila On 7. Tapi entah kenapa gue lebih srek denger musik Pop-Punk, ini tuh udah kek nyaman banget sama ini genre haha
Walau sekarang gue punya band dengan aliran Post-Hardcore, tapi disetiap bikin arasement buat lagu baru pasti nyentuh-nyentuh musik Pop-Punk mulu, belom bisa move on ini sampe sekarang.

Dari dulu cita-cita gue waktu kecil setelah jadi Power Ranger gue pengen banget punya band yang bisa banggain keluarga gue dan teman-teman gue. Awal gue nge-band sih waktu lulus-lulusan Sekolah Dasar, daripada bete ngapain eh temen-temen gue pada ngajakin nge-band. Disitu gue main Bass, malah sebelum bisa main gitar yang kunci balok jaman dulu gue bisanya main bass dulu baru lancar main gitar.
Nah, pas gue Sekolah Menengah Pertama kelas 3 temen gue ngajakin bikin band dan ini band sayang banget cuma bertahan selama 4 Tahun. Tapi akhirnya temen gue ngajakin lagi bikin band baru dengan musik baru dan style baru. Kita mencoba memainkan musik Post-Hardcore, pertama latihan kita bawain lagu-lagu dari Sleeping With Sirens, Memphis May Fire dan A Day To Remember. Dan akhirnya kita mulai-in serius dalam band ini dan memberi nama Hopeless Romance. Kenapa kita namakan band ini dengan nama Hopeless Romance, karena rata-rata personil ini banyak yang gagal dalam hubungan asmara.
Kita fokuskan untuk membuat Single pertama kita yang akan rilis bulan Februari 2015 mendatang!

I LOVE NEW FOUND GLORY

Nama saya Bimo Noviyanto, kali ini saya ingin bercerita tentang band Favorite saya sejak pertama kali mamasuki jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama. New Found Glory band yang beraliran Pop-Punk yang sudah terbentuk sejak 1997 yang berasal dari Coral Spring, Florida. yang beranggotakan Jordan Pundik (vocal), Chad Gilbert dan Steve Klein (Guitar), Ian Gruskha (bass) dan Joe Moreno (drum).

Tetapi tidak berselang lama posisi Joe Moreno digantikan oleh Cyrus Booloki yang bertahan sampai sekarang. Berbicara tentang New Found Glory, mereka juga mempunyai side project. Sebuah band ber-genre hardcore yang di gawangi oleh personil NFG yaitu The International Superheroes of Hardcore atau biasa disebut ISHC. New Found Glory sendiri telah mempunyai 8 Album Studio diantaranya:

New Found Glory juga bisa dibilang sebagai pelopor music Easycore, music Easycore itu sendiri adalah perpaduan music antara Pop Punk dan hardcore yang ditambah sedikit sentuhan Breakdown ala music Metal dan Sing Along ala music Hardcore. Oh iya pada tanggal 12 Desember 2013 New Found Glory mengumumkan lewat Official Facebook mereka kalau New Found Glory sudah tidak digawangi lagi oleh Steve Klein karena ada perbedaan pendapat antara Steve Klein dengan New Found Glory. Dan sekarang New Found Glory hanya berempat dan tepat pada tanggal 7 oktober 2014 New Found Glory telah merilis album studio mereka yang kedelapan yaitu Resurrection . dan yang saya baca dari majalah online Hai Magazine menurut gitaris NFG sekaligus kekasih dari Hayley Williams ini mengungkapkan bahwa “Ini adalah album paling siap yang pernah kami buat. Menulis materi sebagai sebuah band sekarang tidak terasa begitu mudah. Kami benar-benar dating bersama banyak ide. Kami sudah melalui banyak hal dan pikiran. Album ini telah menjadi suatu yang sangat katarsis buat kami” jelas Chad Gilbert. Dan album ini adalah album pertama New Found Glory dengan beranggotakan berempat saja.

Oh iya kenapa saya sangat suka sekali dengan band ini? Enggak tahu juga sih. Dari jaman saya Sekolah Dasar memang saya sudah suka sekali dengan music Pop Punk, tetapi band Pop Punk pertama yang saya tahu itu bukan New Found Glory, tapi Simple Plan dengan single andalan mereka dulu Shut Up! Dan Welcome To My Life. Dan lalu teman saya memperkenalkan lagu band Pop Punk lainnya seperti Greenday dan Blink-182. Tapi entah kenapa setelah teman saya kasih beberapa lagu New Found Glory ke saya, pas pertama kali dengar tuh berasa “Ini gue banget” dan hingga sekarang saya sangat nge-fans sekali dengan band satu ini.

Diantara semua personil New Found Glory yang menjadi inspirasi saya itu adalah Chad Gilbert, dan lagu-lagu dari New Found Glory telah menjadi inspirasi saya dalam bermain music. Bukan hanya menjadi inspirasi saya dalam bermusik, Chad Gilbert ini juga menjadi bagian dari paham Straight Edge, ialah sebuah gerakan positive “No Smoke, No Drugs, No Alcohol, No Free Sex, Yes We’re Straight Edge”

Dan yang terakhir ada kata-kata menarik dari sang frontman Jordan Pundik “Love Us, Hate Us, Never On Hiatus!”

In the afternoon, a lamb was grazing with a flock of sheep . She soon found some sweet grass at the edge of the field. Farther and farther she went, away from the others.

She was enjoying herself so much that she did not notice a wolf coming nearer to her. However, when it pounced on her, she was quick to start pleading, “Please, please don’t eat me yet. My stomach is full of grass. If you wait a while, I will taste much better.”

The wolf thought that was a good idea, so he sat down and waited.

After a while, the lamb said, “If you allow me to dance, the grass in my stomach will be digested faster.” Again the wolf agreed. While the lamb was dancing, she had a new idea. She said, “Please take the bell from around my neck. If you ring it as hard as you can, I will be able to dance even faster.”

The wolf took the bell and rang it as hard as he could. The shepherd heard the bell ringing and quickly sent his dogs to find the missing lamb. The barking dogs frightened the wolf away and saved the lamb’s life.

Biography of Hayley Williams

Hayley Williams was born on December 27,1988, in Meridian, Mississippi.
She was very shy and suffered by strong stage fright. After moving to Tennessee, Hayley started taking vocal lessons and played roles in various school productions. This helped her to get a grip over her stage fear.

She came across Josh and Zac Farro around that time. These brothers had started a band by that time and played various funk covers. They, along with Jeremy Davis and Jason Bynum, formed a band and named Paramore.
Within a few months, the band started performing in Tennessee and soon gathered a small, but devoted fan base. Gradually, as they became well-known, they took part in music festivals like the Warped Tour and Purple Door. The big news came in April 2005, when Paramore was signed for a record contract with Fueled under the label of Ramen.

But, just when Hayley and her band started recording for their first album, the band's bassist Jeremy Davis left the band for unrevealed reasons. Though the band initially suffered from the loss of a member, yet the four-member band redoubled their speed towards making their debut album All We Know IS Falling. The result of their untiring efforts was seen with the release of their album on July 26, 2005. The album scaled #30 on Billboard's Heathseekers Chart. While the band was touring during that summer for the promotion of their new album, Jeremy joined back with the band. This gave the band a fresh wind of energy to perform even better.

Paramore soon began to be counted as one of most promising bands of the music scene. They received huge enthusiasm weeks prior to the release of their second album. In between the release of their second album, Hailey was named "No. 2 sexiest female in rock" by Kerrang Magazine and NME Magazine regarded Paramore as "one of the 10 bands to watch".

The band started recording their second album Riot! by January, 2007, and released it on June 12 of the same year.Paramore received even greater success than their first album with Riot!. It was certified Gold in the United States and Hailey was placed beside contemporary rock icons like Avril Lavigne and Ashlee Simpson.
